Gajars on Pandurang Vitthal in presence of Sadguru Aniruddha Bapu

On Ashadi Ekadashi, a huge 'yaatra' or procession of pilgrims known as Vaarkaris culminates at Pandharpur, which is situated on the banks of the Chandrabhaga river. These Vaarkaris travel by foot to Pandharpur walking hundreds of kilometers. Palanquins (palkhis) venerating Sant Dnyaneshwar and Sant Tukaram are carried by the Vaarkaris who soak themselves in Vitthal-bhakti by chanting various Gajars and other bhakti-geet. After two years, on the auspicious occasion of Ashadhi Ekadashi 2022, the Varkaris are doing the Pandharpur Vari with their hearts filled with sheer Love and Bhakti towards Pandurang Vitthala. To make their Darshan seamless, a total of 1,200 Disaster Management Volunteers (DMVs) of Aniruddha's Academy of Disaster Management are in Pandharpur for Crowd Management. Also, another 400 DMVs are offering Devotional Seva by assisting the government and police authorities in Crowd Management at Wadala Vitthal Mandir.
