The Prodigy: The Call of the Himalayas
While studying in the third Standard at Dr. Shirodkar High School in Parel, Bapu wrote an essay titled ‘The Call of the Himalayas (हिमालयाची हाक)’, which was published in the school’s annual magazine ‘Vikas.’ Against the backdrop of China’s attack on India, the young Bapu reflected on a question far beyond his years: “My young friend, so small and so young in every way as we are, how can we protect Bharat?” This remarkable expression of patriotism and national consciousness astonished his teachers and peers alike. The essay is preserved in the book ‘The Bapu That I Have Known.’
Rising Against Terror: Attack on the Indian Parliament
Following the Pakistani terrorist attack on the Indian Parliament on 13th December 2001, Sadguru Bapu delivered a discourse on 20th December marked by a deep resolve. He urged his Shraddhavan friends to serve the nation to the best of their abilities. He emphasized Bhakti as a source of inner strength, urged for the empowerment of the weak and national unity beyond linguistic and regional divisions. He also inspired the youth to join the Indian Armed Forces.
Exposing Financial Terrorism
On 22nd August 2003, Sadguru Aniruddha Bapu authored the article Financial Terrorism for the Marathi weekly Lokprabha. Examining the concepts of Debt Dollars and deficit finance, the article analysed the environmental, economic, social, political, and cultural consequences of America-led globalisation.
Referring to the 1971 Nixon Shock, Bapu explained how the United States severed the link between the US dollar and gold reserves, paving the way for currency creation through bank loans. He described this as a vicious cycle that weakened global currencies and compelled nations trading with the US to realign their monetary policies.

Aniruddha’s Academy of Disaster Management
Recognising the vulnerabilities of ordinary citizens amid geopolitical turbulence and natural disasters, Dr. Aniruddha D. Joshi founded Aniruddha’s Academy of Disaster Management (AADM) on 14th March 2002. AADM trains volunteers in first-aid, CPCR, rescue operations, triage, crowd management and educates them about nuclear, chemical and biological warfare threats. By June 2026, AADM had trained more than 87,000 Disaster Management Volunteers and published one of India’s earliest textbooks on disaster management.
Dainik Pratyaksha: A Daily Lens on the World
On 15th December 2005, Dr. Aniruddha D. Joshi launched ‘Dainik Pratyaksha,’ an apolitical Marathi daily newspaper with himself as its Executive Editor. Focused on geopolitics and geoeconomics, the publication has, for over two decades, provided incisive analyses of major international developments.
Since December 2013, Pratyaksha has annually published its Anniversary Special issue titled ‘The Special, the Astonishing and the Peculiar.’ Covering subjects ranging from geopolitics and technology to culture, cinema, nature and space, these editions are known for their depth and diversity. The 2025 issue featured articles such as ‘Queen of Death: Catherine Perez Shakdam, Israel’s Spy in Iran,’ ‘The Great Game Blazing in Afghanistan,’ ‘3I/ATLAS: Asteroid of Alien Space Ship?,’ and ‘El Loco: Javier Milei.’
Sadguru Bapu has also authored several editorial series linking real history with modern statecraft, like ‘World’s Intelligence Agencies,’ ‘Samartha Bharat – The Grand History,’ and many others.
The Third World War
On 4th December 2006, Sadguru Bapu published The Third World War, a book comprising his articles from Dainik Pratyaksha. Connecting historical events from the first two World Wars to contemporary geopolitical realities, the work presents analyses that remain relevant over time.
Among its notable analyses was Bapu’s assessment of then German Chancellor Angela Merkel, whom he described as lacking the capacity to lead Germany, while also warning that Germany could emerge as a globally troublesome nation — an observation that gained significance during Europe’s migrant crisis. The book also identified China, Pakistan, and North Korea as an “evil triad” or “troublesome threesome.” Even after the book’s publication, Sadguru Bapu has continued to alert Shraddhavans to major geopolitical developments through his editorials and discourses.
Destroy Pakistan
Following the 26/11 Pakistani terrorist attacks on Mumbai in 2008, Sadguru Aniruddha Bapu authored searing editorials and conceptualized ‘Cooperative Satyagraha’ to convey public discontent to government authorities and assert the need for India to attack and destroy ‘Terroristan Pakistan’. The movement’s impact was such that it was referenced in Indian Parliament debates after the attacks.
A message of hope to Kashmiri Pandits
A few months after 26/11, on 5th February 2009, while addressing the Brahmin Sammelan in Pune, Sadguru Aniruddha Bapu gave an exclusive assurance to Kashmiri Pandits that they were not alone and would soon be resettled in their own Kashmir. The relevance and significance of these words have become apparent today.
The Year of Global Polarisation
In a discourse on 17th December 2015, Sadguru Aniruddha Bapu foresaw that 2016 would usher in an era of global polarization, accelerating the course of the Third World War. The year subsequently witnessed major geopolitical, political, technological, and public-health upheavals, including Donald Trump’s election victory, Brexit, Brazil’s political transition, India’s surgical strikes after Uri, the Zika health emergency, and the mainstream emergence of Artificial Intelligence.
India-Russia Grand Old Friendship
Amid rapidly strengthening India–US ties, India–Russia relations, on the other hand, were showing signs of weakening. Against this backdrop, on 13th December 2016, Sadguru Aniruddha Bapu made a humble appeal to all of Bharat through Dainik Pratyaksha. Through this appeal, he emphasised the need to preserve and further strengthen the grand old friendship between India and Russia. While supporting pragmatic engagement with the United States, Bapu cautioned that it should not come at the cost of India’s long-standing friendship with Russia. Subsequent shifts in India’s foreign policy further underscored the significance of the position Bapu had articulated.
An article series and a book on Israel
In 2017, as India-Israel marked 25 years of diplomatic ties, Dainik Pratyaksha launched the series ‘Israel: A journey - prolonged yet successful!’ authored by an Indian-Israeli Jew Shulamith Penkar-Nigrekar. In his foreword to it, Sadguru Aniruddha Bapu emphasized the strategic importance of India–Israel ties and wrote, “The coming times have in store huge outbursts of war....” The relevance of these words became evident following the events of 7th October 2023 and the subsequent conflicts involving Israel.
Reflections on the United States of America
During his discourses in June 2025, Sadguru Aniruddha Bapu criticized the United States after it once again tilted its foreign policy in favour of ‘terroristan Pakistan’ following India’s Operation Sindoor. In this context, Bapu quoted former US Secretary of State Henry Kissinger: “To be America’s enemy is very dangerous, but to be America’s friend is fatal,” asserting that America can never truly be anyone’s friend.
Emphasizing the importance of one’s mother tongue, motherland and own Dharma, Bapu offered pointed advice to Indian expats and Indian Americans living in the USA.
From the articles ‘The Call of the Himalayas’ to ‘Financial Terrorism,’ from disaster management to global geopolitics, Sadguru Aniruddha Bapu’s work has consistently sought to create awareness and preparedness among ordinary citizens.
Through his books, editorials, discourses, and initiatives, Bapu has demonstrated a remarkable command on the intricate subject of international geopolitics while equipping the common man to understand the social, economic, health, and cultural challenges arising from global conflicts and the Third World War, and to confront them effectively.
