Shree Krupachaitanya Padukas

The Sadguru's Padukas occupy an unparalleled place in the life of every devotee of the Sadguru. For the devotees and Shraddhavans of Sadguru Shree Aniruddha Bapu, 31 October 2023 marked the day they were blessed with an invaluable treasure trove, a priceless gift embodying Shree Aniruddha's causeless compassion and His unconditional, selfless love.

On Tuesday, 31 October 2023, in the presence of numerous Shraddhavans, Pujya Samir Dada ceremonially performed the traditional Padya Poojan (ritual worship of the Guru's holy feet) of Sadguru Shree Aniruddha's lotus feet. The sacred silver Padukas are known as the Shree Krupachaitanya Padukas.

In His Pitravachan dated 2nd November 2023, Sadguru Shree Aniruddha Bapu Himself spoke about these Shree Krupachaitanya Padukas:

“These Padukas are Samagra (समग्र) Aniruddha (the complete Aniruddha with all the potencies and all the energies). By the blessings of Maa Jagdamba and Sadguru Shree Dattatreya, all powers, all energies, and all divine functional energies have been consolidated in these Padukas.”

Explaining the purpose behind the manifestation of these Padukas, Sadguru Shree Aniruddha Bapu said:

“Every person living in Kaliyuga has far more than a hundred questions weighing upon their mind. It is for this reason that, over the years, I have given numerous forms of Upasana, Stotras and Mantras for chanting. I have conducted many Utsavs, guided devotees to perform various Poojans and Yagnas, written numerous holy scriptures (Granthas), and through the daily newspaper, Pratyaksha as well, I have shown people many spiritual paths.

The reason for providing so many different paths is that every individual is unique, and therefore each person needs a path suited to them. I have offered a path that each person can follow according to their capacity, inclination, and what appeals to their heart. My earnest longing is that every person should be able to practise at least one of these.”

After interacting with people through my discourses for many years and meeting devotees during my visits to different places, I realised that everyone seeks a simple spiritual path.

Yet, even after providing so many different paths, people were still unable to understand which one was the simplest and most suitable for them. That was the difficulty.

Beyond the subtle lie the finer and the subtlest levels, where these divine powers have their source.

The Switch of Grace

Just as electricity is present everywhere—in the atmosphere, in the sky, and even within the human body—we cannot use it directly. For it to become available to us, there must first be a generator, a source of electrical power, from which electricity is transmitted through wires and brought into our homes in a usable form.

Even then, to make use of the electricity that has reached our home, we need something tangible, such as a switch.

These Padukas have come into being through my tireless efforts. They have arisen from my firm resolve, from my sacred Sankalpa. It was out of my love for you that I decided the Shree Krupachaitanya Padukas must come into existence. It was your love that gave rise to this great resolve, and from that Mahasankalpa, the Shree Krupachaitanya Padukas were born.

The Meaning of Chaitanya

Chaitanya, that is, vitality is the original source of life itself. It is the very origin of all that is alive. The living principle that exists in everything even in what appears to you to be lifeless or inanimate is Chaitanya. Even within the atoms of what seems to be inert matter, electrons are constantly in motion. That motion is life. It is movement. It is progress. It is self-propelled movement. At times, that movement, that course leads to the right destination (Sadgati), and at other times, it leads to decline (Durgati), but it is always moving. The original Source that governs this very movement, this very course is Chaitanya.

The power of these Padukas is immeasurable. It is invincible, beyond anything that can ever be diminished or destroyed.

An Eternal, Unbreakable Bond

The very moment the Paduka Poojan was performed and the Padukas were established in their sacred abode, an eternal connection was forged between every true devotee and these Padukas—a bond that can never be broken.

Therefore, whenever we are in need, these Padukas will always remain connected with our lives and will ever be there for us.
