People can be categorized either into well-wishers or those who do not wish well. However, the Sadguru is the only one who acts in a person’s interest. Even if I have sinned in the past and my fate is skewed against me, the Sadguru intervenes to improve my life. Hence, I prefer the service of the Sadguru than individualism, which can be perverse.
The Sadguru is always prompt in rushing to the help of the weakest of the weak. But, I rarely obey the Sadguru. My mind craves independence and it finds other transient materials/objects more attractive than the Sadguru. It is in this situation that the mind dominates the intellect and this is a direct invitation to Raavan.
I have faced a similar situation in my life. The Sadguru was giving me warnings about an impending situation. But, in addition, He also gave me courage and helped find a way out of the situation.
On Sunday, 13 February 2011, I spoke to the head of the Pune Upasana Centre, Mr. Pravinsinh Wagh. He enquired about my health. I told him that I would be going to the clinic to visit Suchit Dada on 16. He reassured me and asked me not to worry. In addition, he advised me not to go to Mumbai alone and travel with a companion.
Actually, I simply had a minor bout of cold and cough. I thought that Aai would be there with me and I was going to return the same day. Anyways, I found out that many of the students of Aatmabal were going to Mumbai on the same day. Hence, I decided to accompany them.
I reached Mumbai on the 16 February. At the clinic, I met Jayantiveera and Ravindrasinh Gupte. They stay close to my house. Thus, I decided to return home with them.
The five of us, my mother, myself, Seemaveera Jogdev, Jayantiveera and Ravindrasinh Gupte, left the Gurukshetram at 3. We decided to board a train at Khar to go to Dadar. As the train arrived, we realized it was very crowded and found it difficult to get in. However, a person in the train made way for us to get in. Everyone got in and he outstretched his hand to help me get in.
No sooner had I got hold of his hand that the train started moving. Now, my hand was in that persons hand but my feet were dangling outside the train! Ravindrasinh was still on the platform. He asked me to free my hand. Now, I simply had two options of being either dragged away by the train or crashing onto the platform.
But, my Sadguru’s ‘disaster management’ mechanism had been put into work.
Mr. Ravindrasinh managed to drag me away from the train. He is 80 years old and it was highly probable that both of us could have fallen under the train. But, no trouble can be bigger than My Bapu.
We were thrown 3 to 4 feet back, from the edge of the platform. The others saw us from the train and they were terrified but could not do anything as the train had already started.
But, we did not feel the impact of falling down. It was as if someone had picked us up and carefully kept us down. All our belongings were in their place and we suffered no injuries. People gathered around us at the platform and were amazed to find us unhurt.
After everything had settled, Ravindrasinh told me that when he met Suchit Dada in the clinic, he felt the urge to say Raksha Raksha Parameshwara (O Lord, Protect me). He also said that when he said those words he had a vision of the afore-mentioned events. I wondered how it was possible for anyone to visualize any incident before its occurrence. This was possible only because of Bapu. Otherwise, how did Ravindrasinh gather so much strength? And how did we not get injured in spite of falling down?
This is the Sadguru’s miracle. He does everything and yet refuses to take any credit for it. We thanked Bapu profusely. We safely managed to catch the next train and met the others at Dadar.
