Bowing at the lotus feet of Bapu, Nandai and Dada I wish to share an experience which endorses the fact that our only Saviour is my God, My Bapu.
It was the eighth day of Navratra. I had decided to go to Juinagar, Gurukshetram and Sainivas. Since I could not go on the day of Lalitapanchmi (5th day of Navratra) to Juinagar I decided to go to all these places on that one day.
I went by train from Ambarnath to Kalyan and from Kalyan I took a bus to go to Juinagar. I got down at the highway and was crossing, I crossed halfway and while crossing the other half ………. I do not know what happened. A car had knocked me down.
Right from the moment I left home I was continuously chanting, “Om Krupasindhu Shri Saithanaya namah:” but now I was chanting it loudly. I stood up and started walking. My bag was flung far away, a man picked it and gave it to me. My knee was bleeding profusely, a man tied his handkerchief on it, and since the bleeding did not stop another man tied his handkerchief on it. I kept telling them that I wanted to go to the temple. Just then a rickshaw came and one of the gentlemen forced me to get into the rickshaw and told me that we had to first go to the doctor and then to the temple. We were going towards Turbhe. What struck me as unusual was the presence of so many people and a rickshaw on the highway and that too at that hour!. This was Bapu’s grace and I was sure that the person who put me into the rickshaw was also Bapu.
I cannot say that I had a good look at the man but I did ask him where he was from. He replied that he was from Mumbai and that he had some work in that area. As the rickshaw was nearing the hospital it broke down. He then held my hand and took me to the hospital. He admitted me and the treatment started. I was given some medicine and my knee was sutured. The rickshaw driver asked if I had to inform anyone at home, he took out the number from my bag and informed my family.
My son came from work and my husband came with my neighbour. They then admitted me to Shivaji Hospital. My right hand was very badly hurt and the bones of my left hand were crushed. So they immediately operated me and put a steel rod. It was such a serious accident that now even after three months I cannot do anything with my hands. I can barely lift my left hand to my mouth to eat. I cannot even comb my hair. But then it was a blessing in disguise, I realised the love of my husband, son and daughter-in-law. Also' it was only Bapu’s grace that my hands were injured, had it been the head it would have been fatal. My pranam at Bapu's Feet.
