It was November 21, 2010, the auspicious day of Aniruddha Pournima. By this date, I had completed writing 151 ‘Ramnaam’ books. Of these, I had already submitted 142 books and on the day of Aniruddha Pournima, I was going to submit the remaining 9 books.
I left home at around 11 am to reach Mulund, the venue of the utsav. I had kept the passbook of Aniruddha Bank of Ramnaam in one of the Ramnaam books. As my train reached Kurla station, we started getting news that there was an accident at Vikhroli station due to which the trains were not moving ahead. We were stranded in the train for nearly one-and-half hours. No announcements were made about the status and no one there had any clue about what was going on.
In the meantime, my sister, who had left for Mulund before me, telephoned me to inform about the railway accident and suggested that I should take a rickshaw to reach there.
Accordingly, I got off the train at the Kurla station and walked towards the eastern express highway to take a bus to Mulund. However, the buses too were overcrowded. In the meantime, I learnt that the train services had resumed and so I went back to the station and took the next Dombivli-bound train. By the time I reached Mulund station, it was already 7 pm.
I was very happy that despite all the odds, I could to reach there. I was waiting in the queue for submitting my Ramnaam books. I was very excited that I could summit my Ramnaam books. But at the same time I was also worried that if the volunteers close the counter for the day, I will not be able to submit the books.
But then finally it was my turn. I submitted the books at the counter and started looking out for my passbook, but could not find it. It was then that I realised that the bag in which I was carrying the passbook and Ramnaam books was torn. The passbook must have slipped out from that.
Where had I misplaced it? How will I find it? I just could not understand what should I do. I was completely clueless.
It is when all human efforts prove futile, Sadgurutatva comes to the rescue of His shraddhavan. This was clearly evident from the way the incidents gradually unfolded.
It so happened that my passbook had slipped out of my bag when I was on the train. A co-passenger found it. When he got off at Dombivli station, he kept the passbook on one of the benches there. A lady commuter, who too had got off the same train at Dombivli, happened to sit on the same bench where the passbook was kept. I had written both my mobile number and residence number on the passbook. That lady then called me and said that she has found this passbook and asked me to come and collect it within the next 10 minutes.
It was practically impossible for me to reach Dombivli station from Mulund in just 10 minutes. I suddenly remembered that my aunt stays in Dombivli. Can I give her a call?
But then the question was even if she agreed to go to the station to collect my passbook, it was not possible for her to reach there in 10 mins. Moreover, if she was somewhere outside how could she even leave all her work and reach the station in 10 mins. I prayed to Bapu and called my aunt. And what a co-incidence, my aunt was also at Dombivli station. My joy knew no bounds and I was actually in tears.
This was nothing but my Bapu’s ‘leela’, 108%. While I was speaking to the lady who found my passbook, she had told me that she wanted to go to Kalyan. But she remembered that she had some work at Dombivli and so had got off the train. Had she not got off the train at Dombivli and seated on the bench where the co-passenger had left my passbook, I don’t think I would have never found it.
Bapuraya…You do so much for us. For a moment, I was really ashamed of myself. It was my sheer negligence that was responsible for this. Had I been more careful, my Bapuraya would not have to go through all this hardship to help me find my passbook.
I briefed my aunt about the entire episode. I also told her signs to locate that lady. Accordingly, my aunt met that lady and collected my passbook from her. Here, at the Ramnaam Bank counter, volunteers were trying to console me and give me a moral support that I would find my passbook and that I need not worry about that.
Finally I managed to submit my books and get an entry into the passbook. I was overjoyed as I was able to complete my resolve of submitting 151 Ramnaam books by 2010 Aniruddha Pournima. This was possible only with Bapu’s grace.
Hats off to our Sadguru Bapu. He is simply great!!! His love for His bhaktas is like the love of a mother tortoise, who only gazes at the baby tortoise, while she is lying still on one side of the river and the offspring will be on the other shore. By just looking at the smaller ones, the mother takes care of them.
The young ones of the tortoise do nothing, but remember (meditate upon) their mother. The tortoise’s glance is, to the young ones, like nectar, the only source of sustenance and happiness. My Sadguru Bapu, like the mother tortoise always protects and loves us by his loving looks of divine grace.
