On October 03, 2010, we got a call from my maternal aunt from Goregaon. Her husband was admitted to Nanavati Hospital and was kept on the ventilator. I was not at home at the time the call came in. My wife gave me this information when I returned home. We left home for the hospital. I took with me Shree Govardhan Udi and a locket that was blessed by my Bapuraya. Everyone there was in extreme distress. We checked on my uncle and returned home.
I was quite worried about my aunt because her children, the son and the daughter were quite young. I was worried thinking the worse could happen. I promptly gave my aunt’s daughter the locket which had Bapu’s picture on it and also the Shree Govardhan Udi. She immediately applied Udi on her father’s forehead.
Since he was put on a ventilator, everyone was quite worried. I was praying to my Bapuraya for his speedy recovery. I requested Bapuraya that his stay in the hospital not be too long.
On returning home, I kept calling every alternate day to check on him. One day, his son called to let me know that doctors had performed an angioplasty on him and he was feeling much better. After that, on a Sunday, on October 14, 2010 I went to the hospital to give him his breakfast. To my surprise, I was informed by the counter staff that he was discharged from the hospital.
I was very happy. My Bapu came forward for an ordinary bhakta like me and pulled my uncle from the jaws of death.
O Bapuraya, your interventions are unimaginable and divine. May all your bhaktas be blessed at Your lotus feet!
